The Deluxe Double Room was super spacious and had a lovely view of the mountains. It was really clean, which was awesome. You can’t miss the grilled cheese at the nearby Indian Cottage – pure gold! Plus, parking for my motorbike was a breeze, and the landlord at Gwyn was top-notch, offering a lift into Pontardawe like a true gent.
The whole place needs a major rethink, noisy beds, decor that’s seen better days, and poor shower quality. It felt like a logistics challenge just to navigate the tiny room.

Great spot with friendly vibes!
I had a lovely night here! The staff were super nice, even chatted with me in Welsh which was cool. The room was comfy and clean, perfect for winding down. The menu was kinda limited, but the food I tried was really good. Just wish they had more breakfast options available.

Clean room with a flat-screen TV and electric kettle. Limited menu items though.

missingWrote a review on 11 Maythin walls
The shower pressure felt inadequate during the stay, along with thin walls that made the room feel less private, especially with noisy neighbors waking up early. Floorboards creaked quite a bit, adding an uneasy feel to the space, and the flush from neighboring toilets was loud enough to break the quiet at night. A heads-up about the restaurant and bar being unavailable would have been helpful, not to mention the no-breakfast situation.
